We are committed to protecting the privacy of the Sammamish Symphony Orchestra’s patrons, volunteers, and donors.

Information Collection and Use

The Sammamish Symphony collects personal information when you purchase tickets, subscriptions, tickets, or merchandise from us, make donations, attend our concerts, or volunteer your time and talents. We do not collect personal information when you only browse our website. We ask for address information such as your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address so that we can contact you or fulfill your order. When you make a purchase or donation using a credit card, PayPal, or other third-party service, we also ask for information to process your payment.

Address Information

The Sammamish Symphony uses address information to inform you about upcoming activities. We may also use our mailing, phone, and email lists to ask for your support for our fundraising campaigns. We may trade our mailing lists with other arts and non-profit organizations. We do not rent, trade, or sell our mailing, phone, or email lists to commercial businesses.

If you’ve opted out of our address list, we may still contact you with information related to an event you've already purchased tickets to or a purchase or donation that you’ve already made. This may include important information, such as an event cancellation, postponement, or relocation. It may also include a question or problem related to your order or payment. We may also contact season ticket subscribers regarding annual season ticket renewals regardless of whether or not they've opted out of our mailing list.

Payment Information

We do not store or record credit card numbers for any other purpose than processing purchases and donations made directly to us. Sammamish Symphony online ticket purchases are processed through Brown Paper Tickets. Our online donation forms are processed through PayPal. We have no access to the financial information submitted to Brown Paper Tickets or PayPal.

Website Browsing

Unless you've chosen to submit personal information to the Sammamish Symphony (though registering or making a purchase or donation), we do not collect personal information when you browse our website. The Sammamish Symphony does not download Internet “cookies” to your computer. Our website logs technical information from your browser, such as browser type, browser version, browser settings, operating system, pages visited, and your IP address, to ensure that our site continues to operate properly. IP addresses may also be stored and used for security purposes to prevent fraud and other illegal activity. We may also disclose information to law enforcement authorities or other entities to address fraud, security, or technical issues or protect against imminent harm to the rights, property, or safety of the Sammamish Symphony, its audience, or the public as required or permitted by law.

Children

Children of any age are welcome to browse our website. Federal law prohibits websites from collecting or distributing personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. At this time, the Sammamish Symphony has no effective means to obtain and track parental consent. Therefore, we do not permit children under the age of 13 to submit personal information through our website.

Our website contains links to websites for online ticket purchases and donations. Our website also contains links to other community, arts, and sponsor websites that we think our patrons may find of interest. The Sammamish Symphony does not review these websites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. This policy does not cover the treatment of personally identifiable information that may be collected by other websites that link to us or are otherwise affiliated with us.
